Clients of LCCAA’s Lorain County Pathways HUB (LCPHUB) can get to know each other at quarterly group encounters hosted by their Community Health Workers.
The June encounter at Sandy Ridge Reservation in North Ridgeville included a picnic and an opportunity to plant a seed.

At monthly meetings, fathers and father figures – and more than a few mothers – discuss important topics and share insights from their experiences.
“They discussed how important the father role is in child development and how to find concreate supports to navigate that role,” said Diana Riffe, Family Service Assistant Supervisor and one of the group’s facilitators.
LCCAA’s Community Connections program has returned.
Teaming up with Ohio Edison, the program offers energy-efficient refrigerators, freezers and light bulbs to income eligible Ohio Edison customers.
