Ribbon Cut at Agency's New Home

posted 11/15/17 -- Lorain County Community Action Agency hassettled in to the former Molas furniture building at 936 Broadway - just a few blocks from its longtime location at 506 Broadway.

Last week, the public was invited to tour the new space as a ribbon was cut to mark the transformation of the historic building, a vision made possible by United Property Management's Jon Veard.

“We are so pleased with our new space," said LCCAA President and CEO Jackie Boehnlein. "For us, it is the comments of our clients that have meant the most. They say they feel welcome and at ease in our reception and waiting area. Everyone seems to enjoy all the natural light. Being better able to serve is what relocating has been all about.”

The new space includes customer access from Broadway and from the rear of the south building, dedicated customer and employee parking, a sunlit reception area for HEAP customers, a large first-floor community meeting room, four conference rooms and comfortably situated work space for 40 employees.
