Resident Grateful for Appliances

posted 12/10/18 -- Ohio Edison and LCCAA have teamed up to offer energy-efficient refrigerators, freezers and light-bulbs to income eligible customers.

To lower utility costs, the partnership offers customers energy assessments on refrigerators and freezers. If necessary, the Community Connection Program replaces the appliances. The program also offers energy efficient light bulbs for all fixtures in the client’s home.

“That is the first new thing I have had in years,” said Priscilla Blazina, who recently received a refrigerator and a freezer. “I’m a widow. I work during the day and I can’t afford these things. I can’t even tell you how thankful I am.
