LCCAA partners with the Lorain County Workforce Development Agency and OhioMeansJobs to offer a summer program for teenagers and young adults designed to develop leadership and job skills.
Building leadership and job skills in Lorain County youth improves their ability to succeed in life.
LCCAA is proud to be a partner with the Lorain County Workforce Development Agency and OhioMeansJobs Lorain County.
For 2021, there are two programs available in Lorain County:
The summer employment program is for youths ages 15 to 18 who are in high school. Families on TANF or SNAP qualify and the funds earned by the youth do not count against those benefits.
The EDGE program is available year-round for youths ages 16 to 24 whether they have completed high school yet or not.
All eligibility requirements are determined and reviewed by the Lorain County Workforce Development Agency and OhioMeansJobs.
When applying, write LCCAA as the answer to who referred you to have your application directed to the bike shop.
