Human Resources Director Joins Training Panel

posted 5/27/19 -- How do you interact with different generations? If you work full-time, you probably spend a lot of that time with people who are either older or younger than you.

LCCAA Human Resources Director Carla Rodriguez participated in a panel discussion on Working with Multiple Generations conducted for Community Action Agency employees and sponsored by Ohio Urban Resource Systems (OURS).

"It was a fascinating conversation to have with a room full of multi-generational Community Action Agency employees," Rodriguez said. "When you have multiple generations in an organization, it's important to listen and respect the values and preferences of each generation."

Different generations are defined by different sources, with Baby Boomers and Millennials garnering a lot of media attention. During the training, Rodriguez and her fellow panelists discussed how to create a diverse and inclusive workforce.

"All of us bring something special to the table. We build strong teams when we listen to and support each other," Rodriguez added.
