Board Chooses New Officers

posted 1/10/20 -- LCCAA’s Board of Directors has chosen new officers for 2020.

Gerald Pippens accepted a two year term as Chair of the board; he has served since 2012. Pippens is a retired auto worker and union organizer for U.A.W. Local 2000. He has most recently chaired the Board Development committee helping to recruit new members to the agency’s board. Pippens represents the private sector on the board.

Mike Szekely will serve as Vice Chair. He has been on the board since 2008 and has chaired LCCAA’s signature Wine Tasting and Auction event since its inception. Szekely represents the public sector on the board as a designee of the City of Elyria. He serves as bailiff to Lorain County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark Betleski.

Continuing as Secretary and Treasurer respectively are Scott Broadwell and Joe Falbo.

Previous chair Henry Patterson and previous vice chair Nancy Sabath will both continue to serve on the board.
