Tech Connect Class Starts July 16

posted 6/22/18 -- LCCAA's next Tech Connect Class in partnership with Ohio Means Jobs Lorain County begins July 16. The class is designed to improve employment options by improving participants' computer skills.

Participants will learn Windows, Microsoft Office and how to apply for jobs online. After completing the free class, participantsreceive a free, refurbished computer.

To be eligible for the class, participants must live at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Line, be working or seeking work or a full time student. For this class, they must also complete an intake assessment and other requirements with Ohio Means Jobs.

The classes will be held at Ohio Means Jobs Lorain County, 42495 North Ridge Road, Elyria from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the following dates: July 16, 17, 18, 19 and July 23, 24, 25 and 26.

LCCAA Client Services Coordinator Bob McDonald will be at Ohio Means Jobs to enroll participants from 10 a.m. to noon on the following dates: July 3, July 5, July 10 and July 12.
