New Car Will Take Young Man to College

posted 6/4/24 -- Camrin Boone will be driving his very own car to college this fall at Robert Morris University outside Pittsburgh.

Camrin completed the By Car program as part of his work through OhioMeansJobs Lorain County. The program matches savings from earned income at a rate of $3 for every dollar saved.

Participants must complete a financial class and can also receive up to $2,500 toward car insurance.

Camrin's first drive took him to an area shopping mall. He will be studying sports medicine at Robert Morris.
