LCCAA’s newest board member looks forward to serving Lorain County more profoundly.
Attorney Ryan Gembala joined the LCCAA Board of Directors in February joining his friend Vasyl Rabosyuk who is currently acting chair.
“I’ve been trying to get more involved in Lorain County,” Gembala said. “This seemed like a good fit. I knew about some of the initiatives and how they matched the work I’ve been doing.”
A native of North Olmstead, Gembala is a director with Dooley, Gembala, McLaughlin, Pecora, Co, LPA. In his law practice, he has worked with multiple school districts as well as the Lorain County Metropolitan Park District, the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency and others.
“I believe in LCCAA’s mission and I want to make a difference in the lives of those this organization serves,” he said. “Ninety percent of the battle is making people aware of the resources available to them.”
Gembala was led to his current firm in Sheffield Village when he began to explore food safety law. He has explored the legal implications of managing food allergies and stock prescriptions for schools and other institutions around the world to items such as emergency epinephrine.
Gembala lives in North Olmstead with his wife and three children. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and his juris doctorate from the University of Toledo.
