LCCAA CLTC Open House Scheduled for November 19

LCCAA Opens Its New Community Learning and Technology Center

On November 19, Lorain County Community Action Agency (LCCAA) will host an open house at 506 Broadway Avenue, Third Floor, in Lorain. Open house hours are 11:00AM to 8:00PM. The open house welcomes residents, organizations, and elected officials to participate as the agency presents its new Community Learning and Technology Center (CLTC). Those attending may participate in workshops, audit a class, listen to presentations, speak with exhibitors, and possibly win one of many door prizes.

The center will serve as an agency one-stop training facility for all programs while also serving as a community resource and lifelong learning center. The mission of the Community Learning and Technology Center is to deliver instruction and training that respond to individual, community, workforce, and economic development needs and plans. The welcoming environment equipped with today’s technology such as Wi-Fi, interactive classroom presentation technology, and computers is designed to connect those we serve with vital skills and learning that will directly improve their quality of living.
